The TT3 control unit allows you to control single-phase asynchronous motors at mains voltage with connections of the UP-DOWN COMMUNICATION type, used for the automation of awnings, shutters, skylights and the like.
The TT3 control unit can be activated by means of two buttons: one with an ascent function and the other with a descent function, or via Bus (TTBUS). Optional sensors for wind, sun and rain can automatically control the control unit when the climatic conditions require it; the adjustment of the “sun” and “wind” intervention thresholds is possible by means of two trimmers present in the control unit.
After each command, the motor is kept powered for about 2.5 minutes, an electric limit switch in the motor or in the automation stops the movement at the desired position.
A wind sensor ("Volo") or a special wind-sun sensor ("Volo S") or wind-sun-rain ("Volo SR") can be connected to the "Climatic sensors" input (terminals 14-15). Up to 5 control units can be connected in parallel to the same sensor, respecting the polarity of the signals (on all control units, terminal 14 must be connected to 14 and terminal 15 to 15).
